Terrific New York Comic Con debut for BAD KARMA. Many thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth this weekend!
Stop by the Bad Karma tables in Artist’s Alley (W10-W13) and grab this extremely limited con exclusive T-shirt, featuring the sixties Kraken logo (as seen in BAD KARMA VOLUME ONE). $20.00 per shirt. Printed on 50/50 American Apparel shirts.
Feel free to pre-order the shirt (firstname.lastname@example.org) and pick it up at the show.
Additionally, we’ll be debuting a concept from BAD KARMA VOLUME TWO, with this limited edition JOE MARS print, illustrated by Andrew MacLean. JOE MARS will debut in the second volume, created by Seth Peck and MacLean. $10.00 per print.
We’ll also have a very small number of Mark Englert’s limited edition (of 100) BAD KARMA print available at the show. Again, feel free to drop us a line to pre-order the print and pick up in New York. This beautiful art piece is a five color hand-pulled print, measuring approximately 12×36″. $50.00 per print.
Bad Karma will be exhibiting in Artist’s Alley at the New York City Comic Con. Bad Karma can be found in booths W10-W12. Alex Grecian, Jeremy Haun, B. Clay Moore and Seth Peck will all be in attendance, officially debuting BAD KARMA VOLUME ONE. In addition to the hardcover, BK will be offering prints, T-shirts and merchandise.
On Thursday, October 10th, make plans to attend the Bad Karma Panel at 4:15 in Panel room 1A15 . Bad Karma will discuss the Kickstarter process, the book itself, plans for the concepts introduced in BKV1, and also reveal information on BAD KARMA VOLUME TWO. Come and probe four of the softest minds in comics. You might be surprised by what pops out. The panel will be moderated by Word Balloon host John Siuntres.
If you’re heavily into the con experience, you can add the panel to your show planner here:
BAD KARMA VOLUME ONE is officially in hand, and with that Bad Karma will be debuting the book in a few places, starting Sunday, July 21st, in Joplin, Missouri.
BAD KARMA/INSTANT KARMA DINNER (July 21st)
We’ve partnered up with restaurant Instant Karma for a special dinner launch, with a menu specifically designed by the Instant Karma kitchen to reflect the contents of the book. A great dinner, good beer and a copy of the book are included. If you can make it, please do!
INDEPENDENTS DAY (July 27th)
The next stop is at ELITE COMICS, in Overland Park, Kansas, on Saturday, July 27th, for Independents Day, a celebration of independent creators and creations. This will be the official Kansas City launch for BAD KARMA VOLUME ONE, and Clay, Jeremy and Seth will be on hand (Alex is in England), with copies of the book and Bad Karma merchandise.
Additionally, Elite Comics and store owner William Binderup have created this awesome BK patch, which will be given out to the first 100 people who either purchase the book or pick up their pre-ordered copy:

NEW YORK COMIC CON (October 10-13)
Bad Karma is setting up in Artists Alley at New York Comic Con, with copies of the book and much Bad Karma merchandise.
Obviously, more details to come as the show approaches.
When we launched our Kickstarter campaign for the BAD KARMA hardcover, the plan was always to debut the book in Charlotte at Heroes Con, and the show has been incredibly gracious in their support of the book and of Bad Karma as a group. Unfortunately, due to our printer not being able to ship the bulk of the books until the beginning of July, we won’t have copies for sale at the show.
However, Jeremy and Lori Haun will still be representing the group at Heroes (as well as representing Jeremy’s extraordinary talents). They’ll have a finished hardcover copy of the book to display, and will be taking preorders. Along with Jeremy’s own artwork and commissions, they’ll also have Bad Karma T-shirts, prints and merchandise on hand. So please stop by the table and take a look if you’re at the show.
INDEPENDENTS DAY – JULY 27th
Jeremy, Seth Peck and B. Clay Moore will be debuting the book in Kansas on July 27th at Elite Comics in Overland Park. (Alex will be on a book-signing tour in Europe) Elite will be celebrating Independents Day, and has been kind enough to invite us in for the day:
Backers may pick up copies of the book, and we’ll have copies for sale, along with other merchandise. Elite has a terrific day planned, so if you’re in the area, plan on dropping by.
The book looks fantastic, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and support more than we can adequately express.
This week sees the release of JSA THE LIBERTY FILES: THE WHISTLING SKULL #3, by B. Clay Moore and Tony Harris (from DC Comics).
USA TODAY posted an interview with Clay about the book yesterday. Please check it out:
Last week saw X-MEN #41 hit shops, by Seth Peck, Jefte Palo and Lorenzo Rggerio.

Also, Jeremy Haun will be attending Emerald City Comicon at the end of the month, and will have some sweet Bad Karma swag on hand, as well as books, sketches and original art.
Drop by and slap him silly.
